Jerusha Dibble (b. 25 Jan 1726 Simsbury, Hartford, Connecticut[1] - 1757? Simsbury, Hartford, Connecticut) was the daughter of Abraham Dibble.
On 3 Jul 1746 married Capt. Jonathan Buttolph (8 MAR 1724 Simsbury, Hartford, Connecticut - 3 JUN 1777 Granby, Hartford, Connecticut) in Suffield, Hartford, Connecticut
Buttolph was also spelled "Buttles"
Note: Findagrave shows her date of death as Jul. 21, 1798 but since Jonathan married (2) widow Martha Phelps on 15 Feb 1758, this may be incorrect.[2]

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Jerusha by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
Mitochondrial DNA test-takers in the direct maternal line:
Buttolph-14 and Dibble-284 appear to represent the same person because: Buttolph-14 has an indeterminate birth date and married Moses 3 years after he died. The Dibble profile has more data and real documentation. I think she should be removed from Moses life and merged into Johathan Buttolph's.
I think we have a merge on this two profiles. Jerusha Dibble
