Linda Estelle Diedrich was born on 11 December 1915 in Hamlin, Monroe, New York, the third of five children of John Martin Diedrich and Josephine Caroline Klafehn.

She passed away on 12 June 1919 in Greece, Monroe, New York and was buried in Parma Union Cemetery in Parma.
