Jacob Dietterick was recorded in the 1800 U.S. Census, residing in Upper Mount Bethel, Northampton, Pennsylvania, head of a household of 1 M<10, 1 M 10-16, 3 M 16-26, 1 M>45, 1 F<10, and 1 F>45. Two younger males Elias and Frederick Dietterich (both 26-45 y.o.) are recorded four lines below:.

Jacob Teitrich was recorded in the 1810 U.S. Census, residing in Upper Mt Bethel, Northampton, Pennsylvania, head of a household of 2 M 16-26, 1 M>45, 1 F 16-26, and 1 F>45. Four younger males with same family name Teitrich are recorded on the following lines: Elias (26-45), Eleas (26-45, duplicate?), Jacob (16-26), George (16-26).

He died on 9 November 1819 in Mount Bethel, Northampton, Pennsylvania, United States of America .

In his will dated 15 April 1819 and probated 13 Nov 1819, Jacob Dietterich named his wife Elizabeth and ten children Elias, John, Jacob, George, Abraham, Adam, Elizaberh, Catherine, Sarah and Elena. He named sons Jacob and Abraham as executors; witnesses were Adam Barr, Harvey A. Howard and Alex'r Gaston. (Northampton Wills, vol 4 p 556; image 317)
