Thomas Jefferson "Jefferson" Dillon SR was born 1809 • Franklin County, Virginia, USA and died 1900 • Botetourt County, Virginia, USA.

He was born to Asa Clay Dillon Sr (1780-1860) and Elizabeth Greer (1780-1860).

He married Margaret Ann Perdue (1809-1895) and had the following children: Amanda, Nathaniel, Elizabeth Jane, Temperance "Tempy" Willis Dillion Dillion, Mahala Ann Frances, Jesse, Sarah "Sallie" Maude Dillion Dillion, John Wilson and Thomas Jefferson Dillion Jr.
