Timothy Dimock was born in 1769 in Newport, Hants, Colony of Nova Scotia, son of Shubael Dimmock (1707–1781) and Sarah Knowlton (1727–~1794).
In his father's will, dated 10 July 1779 (proved 9 Aug 1781), he was bequeathed "the two hundred acre lot of land which I now hold by lease and bond from Captain Abel Michenon in Falmouth be the same more or less."[1]
He was the first Dimock who settled in Nova Scotia with the Planters who were in Falmouth Township.[2]
Timothy and Mary Parker were married in about 1795 in Nova Scotia.[2] Their known children were:
Timothy died in about 1838 in Nova Scotia, aged 68.
