Biography

Joanna Dimick, the daughter of Samuel Dimick, was born 27 April 1743 in Tolland, Connecticut [1]She married Edward Shipman 1760 Chester, Connecticut[2]

Major Edward Shipman and his wife Joanna Dimock are honored for service: 1) ALSO CAPT COLS WEBB, WARD; 7TH REGT, CT MILITIA & CONTINENTAL LINE [3]

Joanna died 09 May 1812 Chester, Connecticut and was buried at Old Town House Hill Cemetery, Chester, Connecticut.[4]
