Maud was born in Williamstown in 1880.[1] Her first son, William, was born in 1896. Mrs M. L. J. COOK. - Another well-known citizen, in the person of Mrs Maud Louisa Jane Cook, of 26 Albert St., North Williamstown, passed away on the 18th April at the age of 63 years. The deceased was also born in this City and leaves two sons to mourn their loss, her husband having predeceased her. The funeral largely attended, took place on Monday from Nelson Bros. chapel, North Williamstown, to the place of interment in the family grave in the Williamstown cemetery. The Rev. L. M. Thompson, Methodist, was the officiating clergyman at the graveside and Nelson Bros. were funeral directors.
