John Dixon was born on 16 November 1717 in Mill Creek Hundred, New Castle County, Colony of Delaware, son of Henry Dixon (about 1695–about 1742) and Ruth Jones (about 1695–about 1758)[1][2]
John passed away in 1767 in Mill Creek Hundred, New Castle County, Colony of Delaware, aged 48.[4]

DEEDS - 29 Apr 1767 - Land late of Simon Hadley is mentioned in a mortgage between Isaac Allen of New Garden Twp., Chester Co. (PA), inn holder, 170 pounds with interest unto Rebecca Dixon, widow of John Dixon, 142 acs., in Mill Creek Hundred (DB Y1, p. 223)[5]
