Alfred Ernest Dixon was born on 12 Aug 1875 in Williamstown, Victoria, Australia, son of Henry William Odessa Dixon (1833 - 1888) and Jane Elizabeth Fanstone (Sweetingham) Dixon (1833 - 1910).[1]
