Biography

Daniel Doane, a son of Daniel Doane and Mehitable Twining, was born November 23, 1687[1] or January 24, 1688[2] in Eastham, Barnstable, Massachusetts. He went to Pennsylvania with his parents in 1696. He married Ann Baynes, a daughter of Thomas and Janet Baynes, on January 1, 1716 in Middletown, Bucks, Pennsylvania at the Middletown Monthly Meeting.[3][4] Pennsylvania, Church Marriages, 1682-1976 shows marriage date to be Nov 1, 1716. [5]Anne was born June 28, 1698 in Middletown and died there January 13, 1754. Daniel was a carpenter and lived in Middletown.[6]
