Biography
Mary Ann Dobson was born in on April 1, 1797 in Baie Verte, New Brunswick. She was the daughter of Richard Dobson and Charlotte Richardson. Mary married Matthew Allen.
In 1851, Mary was widowed and living in Cape Tormentine with 6 children. Two more of her children lived nearby. In 1861, she was living with three of her children (Eliza, Matthew, Ann) and three grandchildren.
Mary died on September 18, 1877 in Bayfield, New Brunswick.
