DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Stephen by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Stephen:
Dod-14 and Dod-34 appear to represent the same person because: Stephen Dod/Dodd b. 1703 vs 1705 has at least three profiles on WikiTree: Dod-14, Dod-34, and Dodd-1588. I feel these need to be merged. His birth surname was Dod, and he changed the spelling to Dodd around 1725, so all of his children carried the Dodd surname. It appears that his wife's married name was also Dodd.
Thanks!
