Horace Dodd was born December 26, 1891 in Kingston, Bartow County, Georgia.[1]

Horace Dodd was enumerated as son of the head of household in Euharlee Militia District 851, Bartow County, Georgia for the June 26, United States Census, 1900. He was noted as at school, born December 1891 in Georgia and single. Also included in the household are head Simpson G Dodd, wife Irene Dodd, son Roger Dodd, son Frederick G Dodd, son Julius Dodd, daughter Annie May Dodd, daughter Mary F Dodd, daughter Ruby Irene Dodd and son Hubert Dodd as seen in an image of the original census.[2]

Horrace Dodd was enumerated as son of the head of household at Island Ford Road, Euharlee, Bartow County, Georgia for the April 22, United States Census, 1910. He was noted as born 1892 in Georgia and single. He was a laborer on a home farm as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head S G Dodd, wife Irene M Dodd, son Fred Dodd, son Julius Dodd, daughter Annie Dodd, daughter Francis Dodd, daughter Rubie Dodd, son Hubert Dodd, son Simpson Dodd, son Clifton Dodd, son (daughter) Hugh B Dodd and son Albert Dodd.[3]

Horace Dodd registered for military service as recorded in this June 5, 1917 United States World War I Draft Registration Card. His birth is listed as December 26, 1891 in Kingston, Georgia. His address was Chatsworth, Georgia. His occupation was bank cashier at Bank of Chatsworth in Chatsworth, Georgia. He was tall in height with a slender build and had blue eyes and brown hair as seen in this image of the original form.[1]

Horrace Dodd was enumerated as head of the household at Chatsworth, Murray County, Georgia for the January 5, United States Census, 1920. He was noted as born 1892 in Georgia. He was married, an owner and a cashier (bank) as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household is wife Bertha Dodd.[4]

On April 1, 1935, Horace Dodd lived in Floyd County, Georgia.[5]

Horace Dodd was enumerated as head of the household at Pine Street, Ward 6, Rome, Militia District 919, Floyd County, Georgia for the April 11, United States Census, 1940. He was noted as born 1892 in Georgia and married. He rented a home and was shown to be a traveling salesman (wholesale dry goods) as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household is wife Bertha Dodd.[5]

As listed in the Find A Grave Index,[6] Horace Dodd is buried at Old Taylorsville Church Cemetery in Polk County, Georgia.[7]
