George Dodson, born in 1751 in North Farnham Parish, Richmond County, Virginia, to Greenham and Eleanor Hightower Dodson, was often referred to as "Preacher George Dodson" but nothing of his adult life has been confirmed by genealogists and no primary documents relating to his occupation, residences, or date of death have been found.
