Mary was born about 1818 to Thomas and Elizabeth (Knox) Doolin. Mary Doolin married Ansell Adamson 10 Jan 1837 in Pulaski Co., Kentucky.[1][2] They had three children in three years. He passed away in 1840 at the age of 30, leaving his young wife with the babies. By Polly married Joseph Dorris Farris and had 5 children. Three of Joseph and Polly's children died in 1850. They were all under the age of 5. Samantha and John S. Farris survived.[3][4] Polly passed away on 1892 in Whitley, Kentucky, USA.
