Sarah Dorsey

Birth

She was born 30 December, 1782 in Anne Arundel County.[1][2]

Parents

Sarah Dorsey was the daughter of Charles Griffith Dorsey (son of Colonel Nicholas Dorsey) and his wife Anne[2].
Her father moved to Kentucky after the Revolution and died aged 70 on September 12, 1814 in Louisville, Jefferson, Kentucky, United States [3]

Marriage

Sarah married John Litchfield in 1819[4][2].

This biography, other than the birth date, relates in its entirety to Sarah's niece Sarah (Dorsey) Crump (1817 - 1865, Dorsey-1216). This Sarah Dorsey was born thirty years too early to have married Robert Crump (1815 - 1899, Crump-1835) and borne his children.
