- NORTHPORT, ALABAMA - Leonora E. Barstow, 86, formerly of Sioux Falls, died Wednesday, October 18, 1995, at the Druid City Hospital in Northport.
- Leonora Douglas was born January 6, 1909 at Noblesville, Indiana. She moved with her family to Aberdeen, where she graduated from Aberdeen High School. She worked in the Aberdeen school system for several years as a secretary.
- She married Russell G. Barstow on January 8, 1936 at Redfield. They lived in Vermillion until 1954, when they moved to Sioux Falls. While in Vermillion and Sioux Falls, she typed many theses and other papers for college students. Her husband died July 12, 1994.
- Graveside services begin at 4p.m. Saturday in Woodlawn Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
- Chapel Hill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
