Richard Downe was born on 2 Nov 1703 in Zeal Monachorum, Devon, England, son of Richard Downe (1667 - ~1724) and Jane (Westleck) Downe (~1670 - ) and baptised 2 November of that year. [1]
Richard married Elizabeth Larwill (<1706 - <1753) on 11 May 1729 in Winkleigh, Devon. [2] Their children were:
