Biography

All of the Doyle children were given fish nicknames. Harry Jr's nickname was Crab.

His daughter wrote:

"Henry Doyle (you are correct, he had no middle name), was born December 10, 1903. April 17, 1985, his date of death, correct as you have it, was two days after the April 15th tax deadline in the US which he struggled against all the years I knew him. By April 17th we would often begin to renew acquaintanceship with him after three or four months of his working day and night. We scarcely saw him from Christmas to past the middle of April. It was fitting that he let his hair down this final time just about on schedule."
