Marie Charlotte Dubé was born and baptized on 13 Sep 1791 in Notre-Dame-de-Liesse parish in Rivière-Ouelle, Province de Québec. She was the daughter of Louis Dubé and Marie Modeste Michaux [sic] of this parish. Sponsors at Marie Charlotte's baptism were Lambert Loudon dit Beaulieux [sic] and Marie Anne Dubé; only the priest and the father signed the register. At age 20 Charlotte married Pierre Ayotte on 7 Oct 1811 in Saint-Antoine de la Rivière du Loup in Bas-Canada. There were eight known children born into this marriage. Charlotte died at age 84 on 28 Mar 1876 in Saint-Justin in Maskinongé; she was buried four days later on 30 Mar in Saint-Justin parish cemetery.
