Biography

Marie Angélique Ducharme was born 5 June 1749 in Bécancour, baptized the same day in the parish of Cap-de-la-Madeleine^[1](or at least the record survives there, duplicate records were often made, both places are across the river from each other). She does not appear to have had any siblings, hers is the only marriage or baptism recorded for them, and her father is listed as deceased on the marriage.^[2]

She married Jean Cormier dit Thibier on January 11, 1767, in Bécancour.^{[3][4][5][6][7]}

She died on 5 May 1815, funeral the next day in Bécancour^[8], being listed as 66 year old Marie Ducharme, widow of Jean Cormier.
