Research

Some ponderings... Did Mary's 2nd marriage ever take place, especially in Ireland? I checked Qld as there is a Waterford there & NSW for a marriage in Australia but nothing there. She died as a McLaren, not Carroll.

  1. 14 daughter, Jessie was born as a McLaren, not Carroll.

Mary Ann did not marry John Carroll as she was still married to John McLaren, he left Mary Ann and went to Mount Morgan where he got married again using Scott as a middle name, after a few years and a few kids to Susanna they went to South Africa to live,so you see John McLaren was a bigamist.

John Carroll didn't want his and Mary Ann's kids registered as a Carroll but yet the kids nearly all had John Carroll as their father on their death certificates, so they knew who their father was.

These 2 Mary Ann Dugan/McLarens are the same person so we should merge them so that there aren't any duplicates thanks Megan

I believe that your Mary Dugan is the same person as Dugan-713.
