In 1833 Emily was living in Tennessee where the 1833 Leonid Meteor Shower was most visible, and may have witnessed one of the most spectacular meteor showers in history on “the night the stars fell”[1]

Emily Dugger married Elijah Bunton on 14 Nov 1846 in Johnson County, Tennessee, when she was 16 years old.[2]

General was born in 1864. General died in 1865
Abraham Cable was born on September 25, 1865.
Ulysses Grant was born on September 30, 1867.
Nancy was born about 1871
