Sarah Duke, daughter of Thomas Duke, married William Bogue of North Carolina 12-15-1727/28. Thomas Duke (probably Jr.) Nansemond Co. 3-8-1701 "having made a confession of Truth same year, de sounded taking a wife contrary to the Scripture and not of us and going to the priest." Thomas Duke, Sr. sent a letter to this meeting* consenting to the marriage of his daughter Margaret to Moses Hall 11-7-1707/08.
