Research notes
Note: There's a Margaret DUNCANSON/Henry EDGCUMBE marriage indexed in Tasmania in 1857, but other trees show Henry's wife as Elizabeth DUNCANSON born 1836 in Tasmania and newspaper reports of the time show the latter as more accurate:
MARRIED. At Evandale, on the 3rd March, by special license, by the Rev. Robert Russell, Thos. Laurence Brown, of Perth, to Emily, second daughter of Mr. Isaac Coote, of Mount- ford, Perth. At Cotehill, Deloraine, on the 10th instant, by special license, by the Rev. James Lindsay, Henry L. J. Edge- cumbe, Esq., to Elizabeth, eldest daughter of Malcolm Duncanson, Esq., Hobart Town.[6]
