[1](note this is the wrong Find A Grave link submitted by a user, this is for Michael. It does, however, cite that Michael "was the son of Elizabeth Susannah Roeder (1740-1809) and Johan Jacob Dunkle (1736-1809). Both parents were born in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania and are believed to have died in Path Valley, Metal Township, Franklin County, Pennsylvania." Will look for the correct link.)

It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Johannes by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Johannes:
Hello: I would like to connect Dunkle-46 as the father for my John Dunkle-245 born about 1753 in Augusta, VA, died abt Sept of 1813. I have his will record posted on his profile. I do not know a maiden name for his mother was possibly Margaret according to many researchers? Johannes Jacob possibly had him with her before marriage to his wife, it appears. Thanks for any help! And let me know if it is ok with you as managers to add Dunkle-46 as his father ?
