In May 1740 at the Hartford Assembly, James Dunlap petitioned against Ebenezer Beach on Mary Smith’s estate. He said no inventory of his father’s estate had been done and his sisters, Elizabeth and Hannah had gotten some of his moveable estate. [1]

In October 1741, the Hartford Assembly ordered that James Dunlop shall have and hold he land at White Hills to him, his heirs and assigns as his part and share of his father's estate.[2]
