Biography
When Sam Dunn was born on December 11, 1895, in the area that is now Love County, Oklahoma,[1] his father, William, was 44 and his mother, Mary, was 38. He married Emma Sue Blankenship (1907–1982) on February 1, 1921, in Carter, Oklahoma.[2] He died on March 25, 1987,[3] in Ardmore, Oklahoma, at the age of 91, and was buried in Love, Oklahoma.[4]
