William Dunsmoor was born circa 1698 in Kilrea, Londonderry, Ulster, Ireland. His parents were John Dinsmore and Hannah Dinsmoor. He emigrated to America. He died November 27, 1782 at the age of 84 in Boylston (Worcester County), Massachusetts, United States. [1]

His first wife was Jane Mores; they married on November 28, 1733 in Concord, Middlesex Co., Mass. She was born circa 1713. She died circa 1735 in Mass.

  1. Agnes Dunsmoor was born on June 28, 1735 in Stow, Mass. She died on September 1, 1780 in Sterling, Worcester Co., Massachusetts.

He Married Jane Smith as his second wife on April 22, 1736. She died on October 15, 1765. Their children:

  1. Mary Dunsmore was born circa 1738 in Lancaster, Worcester Co., Massachusetts. She died before February 9, 1782 in Lancaster, Worcester Co., Massachusetts. She married William Crawford on February 26, 1758 in Lancaster, Worcester Co., Massachusetts.
  2. Oliver Dunsmore was born on January 23, 1739/40 in Lancaster, Worcester Co., Massachusetts. He died after 1800.
  3. John Dunsmore was born on September 17, 1742 in Lancaster, Worcester Co., Massachusetts. He died on August 4, 1811 in Grafton, Vermont. He married Sarah Winn on September 13, 1766 in Lancaster, Worcester Co., Massachusetts.

He married third Ruth Mitchell in 1766. She was born in 1724. She died on April 4, 1808 in Boylston, Worcester Co., Massachusetts. She is buried in the Old Burial Ground, Boylston, Worcester Co., Massachusetts. Their Children:
