She married on 18 October 1834 in Plymouth St Andrew, Devon, [2] then lived with her husband and children in Cawsand, then Maker (Cornwall). The couple had ten children: John, George, George, Jane, Elizabeth Emma, George, Elizabeth Emma, Thomazine, Susanna Maria, and William. The three Georges (named after their father) died at ages 2, 5, and 7. The first Elizabeth Emma in the family died aged 2.

After her husband died in 1878, [4]Thomasine became the landlady of the Halfway House Inn, Fore Street, Maker for twenty years until her death (in her eighties) in 1897. [5]
