Marie Dupuis, daughter of Jacques Dupuis and Marie Louise Vanasse dit Bastien, was born in St. Joseph-de-Maskinongé, Quebec on 30 March 1777, and baptized there the following day.[1][2] She married Jean-Baptiste Ross on 11 February 1805 in the same parish.[3][4] Marie died on 8 November 1860 at Maskinonge, and was bured on the 10th in the parish cemetery.[5]
