Biography
Nathaniel Dyer Jr. was born on December 28, 1772 in Cape Elizabeth, Cumberland, Maine. He was the son of Nathaniel Dyer and Hannah Dyer .
He married Abigale Higgins (1777-1871) on March 27, 1794 in Cape Elizabeth, Cumbelrand, Maine.[1] They had 10 children.

He was a Selectman in Cape Elizabeth 1810-13 and 1830-31.

Family sampler by Emily Dyer Jordan in 1834 lists all 9 children, death Nathaniel and three children, Martha, Almira and Emily. Sampler is owned (1997) by Mrs Edith Jordan of Fairfield, Jefferson, Ia, picture of by Norman Jordan Cape Elizabeth, Maine.
