The name of Levi Dyer, of Falmouth, appeared as private, March 24, 1757, on the Roll of George Berry's company -- "scouting Eastward." He served from February 21 to March 21, four weeks; as he was under age, his "Father or Master Wm Dyer" signed for him. In 1759, Levi Dyer was in service "at Penobscot," in Captain George Berry's company, from April 1 to July 16, fifteen weeks and two days. From July 16, 1759, to July 28, 1760, fifty-four weeks and one day, Levi Dyer was stationed in the "Garrison at Fort Pownal," under command of Brigadier-General Jedidiah Preble.
Married in 2nd Church of Scarborough and removed to Limington.
