They were in Eastport, Washington, Maine in 1860, where he was a Merchant, and she was taking care of the home and children, Bessie H-11, Julia M-9, Caroline S-7,and Charles G-4.[8][9] They had a Servant girl also in the home.
In 1870, Charles was a Grocer and fish Dealer, in Eastport. Addie (30) was taking care of the home with Julia-19, Charles-14, and Charles's Mother, Hannah-76 in the home.[10]
His wife Hannah Elizabeth passed away on March 22, 1874, in Eastport, Maine, at the age of 47. They had been married 26 years.
He married Louise L Buchan on ca. May 16, 1875 in Eastport, Washington, Maine. They had one child.
Charles (age 58) and Louise (age 31) lived in Eastport, Washington, Maine in 1880, where he was a Retail Grocer, and she was taking care of the home and His daughter Florence-10, and their son Franklin G-2.[11][12]
He died at age 85, on December 11, 1906 in Eastport, Washington, Maine.[13][14]
