Biography

Winfield Scott Dyer was born ca 1839 in Unlity, Waldo, Maine. He was the son of Peter Dyer and Olive Harding.

He married Amanda J Day on October 8, 1867 in Boston, suffolk, Massachusetts.[1] They had 1 child.

  1. Herbert Winfield Dyer (1871-1946)[2]

In 1867 Winfield (age about 27) was employed in Carpenter.

In 1880 Winfield (age about 40) was employed in Carpenter.[3]

His wife Amanda died at the age of 60, on November 17, 1909 in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts. They had been married 42 years.[4]

Winfield died at the age of 88 on 20 June 1927 in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts.[5]

Winfield was buried in 1927 in Dorchester, Suffolk, Massachuetts.
