According to Clara's nephew Chris Dyess, son of Willie, Clara, Lucille and Gladys all took off 5 years from their age. Chris stated that his father was the youngest child being born in 1919 and her father died in 1920 so this would make sense that her birthday is not in 1922 as her tombstone states.
