Malinda was born on 15 September 1815 in Union, Kentucky, USA. She was the daughter of Thomas Warren Dyson and Margaret Killian.[1]

In the 1880 census Malinda (age 64) was living in Eddyville, Lyon, Kentucky, USA. Age: 64; Marital Status: Married; Relation to Head of House: Wife[5]
Malinda died at the age of 71 on 15 September 1886 in Lyon, Kentucky, USA and was buried in Eddyville, Lyon County, Kentucky, USA.[6]

Census of Henderson County gives some clue of the residents in the later Union
County area: - Bennet Dyson, est.
The name Bennet Dyson gives us a real insight. His land was on Dyson Creek.
Stephen Warman, a resident of Maryland and son of a Revolutionary War Veteran
obtained 200 acres in 1785 thru his father Thomas Warman. Stephen Warman's
daughter married Bennet Dyson. Her name was Elizabeth Warman (Dyson). In
another record (Kentucky patents) Thomas Warman obtained a grant of 1000 acres
(May 16, 1785) but this 1000 acres was recorded to John O'Bannon. Survey May 16
1785,; recorded April 4, 1795.
