Mary Ann Easley was born in May 1840 in Calhoun City, Mississippi, to Nancy J Plant, age 38, and Millington Easley, age 39. In 1850 her family was living in the Western Division of Chickasaw County, Mississippi. [1]
She married Seth White Rodgers before 1858 when their first child, James M Rodgers, was born. They had seven children in 15 years. In 1860 they were living near Big Creek and Seth was a farmer. [2] In 1880 the widow was living with six of her children in Calhoun County. [3]
She died on September 25, 1887, in Calhoun, Mississippi, at the age of 47.
