Penelope was born on March 81813 in Edgecombe County, North Carolina and a daughter of Joshua Eason and Polly Scarborough. Penelope married Richard Tilman Eages on January 12, 1832. She passed away on April 16, 1869 and buried the Eagles Family Cemetery in Crisp, Edgecombe County, North Carolina. [1]
