Elizabeth East, born on 15 January of 1842 in Shelbyville Illinois, was the first born of at least eleven children born toDavid East and Nancy Paul. [1][2]
She married Levi Stewart[2]on 17 June of 1858 and together they had at least seven children[3][4]as they began their slow migration west. They finally reached Idaho in 1881 where their youngest daughter was born and they made the final trek to northeastern Oregon, where Elizabeth died on 22 May of 1885.[2]
