  1. ) Eastman Genealogy; page 168: Sameul Eastman Jr. son of Samuel, was born in Rehoboth, Mass on 31 March 1768. He married Abigail Stowell and settled in Rockingham Vt. It is said that late in life he removed to Rutland Vt. He served seven months in the Continental Army.
