Biography

Friedrich Ebert was born in Germany on the 4th February of 1871 and baptized on the 19 March of 1871. Son of Karl Ebert and Katharina Hinkel.^[1]

Friedrich (23) married Louise Dorothea Amalie Rump (20) on 9 May 1894 in Bremen.^[2] Their children were:

• Friedrich Ebert (1894–1979)
• Georg Ebert (1896–1917)
• Heinrich Ebert (1897–1917)
• Karl Ebert (1899–1975)
• Amalie Ebert (1900–1931)

He was a German politician of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD) and the first President of Germany from 1919 until his death in office in 1925.^[3]
