John Edgar (or Clerk) was baptized on 27 April 1740 at the Church of St. Nicholas in Manston, Dorset, England. His parents were recorded as Robert and Mary Edgar. [1]
John Edgar, of Manston, married Dorothy Seymour, of Child Okeford, on 2 July 1770 at the Church of St. Nicholas in Child Okeford, Dorset by Henry Hall, Rector and witnessed by James Seymour and Mary Ring. [2]
Rev. John Edgar died in July of 1786 and was buried on 28 July 1786 at the Churchyard of St. Nicholas in Childe Okeford, Dorset. [3] [4]
