Hannah, b. 30 May, 1777, at Killingworth. She m., 1801, Rev. John Niles, b. about 1776, at Colchester. He grad. at Yale, 1797, and was a Congregationalist clergyman. They settled at Prattsburgh, N. Y. In July, 1808, he was installed as pastor of the church at Bath, N. Y., where he removed with' his family from Prattsburgh. He d. 13 Sept., 1812, while attending at Angelica to preach an ordination sermon. She d. 1819. They had five children:
1. George, b. 1801, d. 1876 (Prattsburg, Steuben Co., N. Y.), m. 1832, Mary Russell.
2. Saloma, (married twice) m. Abel Babcock of Chester, Mass., and d. May, 1854, at Clinton, N. Y., and had three children.
3. Mary Anne, 1825 m. Stannard, who d. s. p. She then m. her mother's first cousin, Similius Brockway Ely of Lyme, Conn., third son of Abner Ely and Bridget Brockway, and died 1840 leaving one child -:— John Elliot Ely.
4. Thomas (no children; d. at Bath, N. Y., about 1865).
5. Susan, d. unm.
