Eleanor (Elliot) Sims (1902 - 1992)

Biography

Eleanor was the daughter of John M. Elliott (born c.1848) and Mary C. (Delcher?) Elliott (born c.1858). John was born in England and Mary was born in Maryland.

Eleanor married Rev. Arthur Washington Simms, Jr. (24 Sept 1897 - 24 Mar 1972).

Rev. Simms was born in Maryland to Arthur W. and Elenore (Chenowith) Simms. He was a Methodist minister.

In the 1930 U.S. Census, Arthur and Eleanor were living in Sussex County, Delaware. Her father, John, was living with them.

In the 1940 U.s. Census, Arthur and Eleanor were living in Union Bridge, Carroll County, Maryland.

Eleanor was mother of Arthur W., John E., Robert H., and William C. Simms, Catharine "Kay" Lewis, and Doris E. Clifton.
