From: St. Albans Advertiser, 3 Feb 1966: “Mrs. Lulu F. Oliver, a former resident of St. Albans, died in the Glass Nursing Home, Cincinnati, Ohio, on Wednesday, Jan. 26th, after an extended illness. Mrs. Oliver was born near Teays, Putnam County, on July 10th, 1886, and moved to St. Albans with her family in 1900. She married Hugh Oliver, also of this city, on February 23, 1910, and they lived here until 1916 when they moved to Chillicothe, Ohio. Mr. Oliver died in that city in 1940, and following his death Mrs. Oliver moved to Cincinnati. She was the daughter of the late Bradley J. and Elizabeth Atkinson Ellis, and is survived by two sisters and four brothers, Mrs. John Hunt, Mrs. Claude Holstein, Garland H. (Dart) and Wilmer H. Ellis, all of St. Albans, Guy C. Ellis, Newport News, Va., and Elmer E. of Miami, Fla., three daughters, Miss Lanora Oliver, Canton, Mrs. Pauline Cavett, Cincinnati, Ohio, Mrs. Mary Durham, Casper, Wyo., and two sons, Hugh E. Oliver, Eau Claire, Wis., and David M. of Chillicothe…. internment in the Greenlawn Cemetery there.”
