Online record does not include parents, but a separate record viewed in the courthouse lists her father as T. Ellis and mother as M.C. Ellis.

Died 1904 or 1905, Kanawha County, West Virginia.
Charles D. Wise gives her date of death as 1904 in Diamond, Kanawha County; cause of death was uterine cancer.^[3]
A modern marker at the site uses 1905.^[4]

Buried Witcher Creek Cemetery, Belle, Kanawha County, WV.^[5] Belle and Diamond are very near each other.

"Her death, lingering and painful, was a traumatic event for the whole family. As she neared death, the children were called to her bedside to kiss their mother goodbye. It was an experience they would never forget."^[6]

Have not seen a record of her middle name, perhaps Antionette, like her daughter. Henrietta's oldest daughter filled out a delayed birth certificate for Henrietta's son Henry Virgil Wise-3040 and named their mother "Henrietta Annette" ^[7]
