Biography
Samuel Wesley Ellyson was born in Harrison County, Virginia (now Barbour County, West Virginia) in 1827 to Gideon Ellyson and Elizabeth (Stevens) Ellyson.[1],[2]
Samuel married Minerva Jane Fisher in 1861 in Gilmer, West Virginia.[2]
