Biography
Valentine Dudley Henry Cary Elwes (1862-1908) was the son of Cary Charles Elwes & his wife Elinor née Rye.
He married, firstly, Henrietta Catharine Lane on 28 April 1856.
He married, secondly, Alice Geraldine Ward on 30 November 1865.
He was invested as a Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.)
He was invested as a F.G.H.S.
He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).
He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.).
He died in 1908.
