Biography

John J. Eppinger was born April 25, 1825 in Savannah, Chatham, Georgia, United States. He was a son of James Eppinger and Juliana Throop.[1]

John was a lawyer practicing in in Jefferson, but lived in Paradise.[2]

Marriage

On December 17, 1844 John married Elizabeth Sims Milner in Zebulon, Pike, Georgia.[1][3] Together they have two children: John James and Elizabeth Willis.

Death

John J. Eppinger was killed in a hunting accident on October 18, 1850 in Jefferson, Cass, Texas.[1][2] His burial location is currently unknown.[5]
